This historic town in the Czech Republic is booming with things to do. It can be romantic or great for family fun depending on what you choose to do or see there. There is so much history to experience and great little eateries through the entire town. Churches, fountains, cannons, knights are all within. Most of it is self explanatory so you do not have to have a guide if you want to really take your time and linger though. Most of the sites to see are small so if you do not have days there, its ok. The best things can be seen easily in one or two days. If you do go, Charles Bridge is absolutely stunning to walk across!
Interesting fact: The Czech Republic is said to have invented the art of defenestration. This is when someone is thrown out of a window. In 1618 two Imperial Governors and their secretary were thrown out a window at Prague Castle, which started 30 years of war.
